Eye Exam

Ohman Optometry offers thorough eye exams.  In order to get a detailed assessment of your eye health, your appointment may include dilation. Dr. Ohman will take the time to discuss your unique vision requirements to ensure that you receive the care and attention you deserve.

Eye Treatment

Dr. Ohman has worked with many different eye diseases, including abrasions and dry eye to viruses like Zoster that affect vision. Dr. Ohman has years of experience with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), removing foreign bodies from the eye, diabetic eye care, and treating eye turns in children. Please schedule an appointment if you have any questions about your eye health.

Do I have to be dilated?

Dilation is your choice; you can refuse.  At Ohman Optometry, dilation is a part of the exam.  Dilation establishes the health of your eye.  It is important to have this done on your first exam with a new doctor, future dilation can be discussed based on your initial exam.

Do you take my insurance?

Currently, Ohman Optometry is in the process of credentialing with many vision benefits and health insurances.  Please check our website for more details about the process and who we work with.

Can I buy glasses/contacts from you?

Ohman Optometry currently does not sell contacts or glasses.  We are conveniently located within an optical for your glasses/contact purchasing needs.

What does an Optometrist Treat?

At Ohman Optometry, we see everything from Abrasions to the eye…to Zoster (shingles in the eye).   Any eye questions that you have can be fielded by Dr. Ohman; please feel free to stop in for an exam.
